Actions discharged this time: ----------------------------- ACTION: RGM to review the CoSADIE DC census returns for WFAU-VO Discharged; RGM had commented on the material prepared by MSH and the submission had been made. Actions partly discharged but continuing: ----------------------------------------- ACTION: ETWS (with help from NJC as necessary) to add FeII 1.644 micron filter details into the WSA. Continues; all done apart from Vega-to-AB and zeropoint attributes which can now be done by NJC as sufficient data have been ingested Actions carried forward from 25/01/2013 meeting ----------------------------------------------- ACTION: ETWS, with RPB, to develop an automated helper script to keep release DB files links updated. Continues; this one still has low priority. Specific points and new actions: -------------------------------- Project management: The WFAU "Quarterly" meeting had been set for 13.45-16.45 Thursday, Feb 21st. ACTION: RPB to provide cupcakes for the "Quarterly" meeting. WFCAM, VISTA and VST updates: Nothing to report Comments and issues arising from CASU minutes: No new minutes this time. Networking: Good data rates for the latest transfers and we are up-to-date. WSA/VSA/OSA/GES Operations: ETWS reported: "-- Latest (Nov/Dec 12) VISTA data is transferred. Transfer speeds of 37MB/s were reached. -- Catalogue ingests are now completely done up till the end of Dec 12 for the OSA and up to the end of Oct 12 for WFCAM and non-VVV VISTA data. -- Processing of the catalogues of P89 VVV data is half way through and ingests are running in parallel to the VVV release software running." Replication between the VSA and VSAVV load servers was back up. RPB reported that WISE-ASS and GALEX neighbour tables had been added to UKIDSS DR8 Hardware and Systems: Working well. Following some disk replacements, the old disk38 volume is back and available for use. Survey Data Release: The VVV P87 release continues, source merging and re-seaming have finished. Neighbour table and the variability curation (CU6) is expected to take up to 8 weeks. VMC QC has been applied and the P89 release process has been started. VIKING and VHS P89 releases will follow the VMC. After a few hold-ups the P88 ATLAS release continues and is currently source merging. Tom Shanks had been in contact re an ESO release. The requirement seems to be for data up to mid-September 2012 (almost P89), however the mandatory products look to be pipeline in origin so the working assumption is that these will be supplied by CASU. The ESO notes ask for tile based products rather than MEF/detector based. Whilst this might be a mistake on ESO's part, Tom seems to agree and has asked CASU about the possibility of providing tile images and catalogues. The replicated OSA metadata database would be set-up once the ATLAS release had finished, name TBD but it would not begin with a V! Software: RSC reported: " - CU19 has been updated to support VSA-style releases for the OSA. - A bug in the automatic setup of the ATLAS programme has been fixed. - Automated VVV releases now update the quality flags for the deep detections only following a successful ingest of new WFAU-products, which saves about a day's processing each time this script needs to be run / re-run following an interruption. - Some further improvements to CU6 w.r.t. profiling." MSH noted the creation and soon to be linked and available Multi-Order Coverage (MOC) maps for the various WFAU archive holdings. Non-survey Data Release: A user had been in contact about access to an old WFCAM service project. It looks like the database release process never completed for this project but the user seems happy with flat file access for now. Astrogrid deployment, VO & Data Analysis services: Help had been given to a user requiring scriptable access to the SSA. Miscellaneous: Nothing of note. -- Scanned by iCritical.
