Software: RSC reported that he had done the six-monthly clean-out of the remaining software tickets on trac and noticed a couple of minor issues from DR3 that hadn't been fixed yet for DR4. The most significant one was that older UDS mosaics weren't being automatically deprecated when new ones were ingested, so he'd starting implementing the fix for this in time for the second phase of the DR4 release. He'd also prepared a helper script to propagate the deprecation flags to reingested missing detections, and am making some modifications to make sure that ppErrBitsStatus is set for all entries of a multiframe that is shared between multiple programmes. And tested CU16 for the LAS cross-match with the new Segue database. ETWS reported that the installation of the 64-bit software on Khafre is nearly done. The only thing left is the compilation and testing of our code. NJC has tested injestion of deep stacks and catalogues as the final part of the preparation of the DXS for DR4 and found minor bugs in the new recalibration software which ETWS promptly fixed. Everything looks good now. DR4 Survey Data Release: ETWS reported that CU4 recalibration had finished and has been checked. CU7 is now running on the LAS. After discussion, it was agreed that we could start GCS CU7 once the LAS was re-seaming. CU13 stacking has started on the DXS Non-survey Data Release: Latest non-survey data from CASU, 31 Mar, available for flat file access Astrogrid deployment & Data Analysis services Miscellaneous: Nothing else this week. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Peredur Williams, Institute for Astronomy, University of Edinburgh Royal Observatory, e-mail: pmw@roe.ac.uk Blackford Hill, fax: (+44) 131 668 8416 Edinburgh EH9 3HJ www: http://www.roe.ac.uk/~pmw phone: (+44) 131 668 8300 (University exchange: 75-300) "The University of Edinburgh is a charitable body, registered in Scotland, with registration number SC005336." -------------------------------------------------------------------
