Comments and issues arising from CASU fortnightly minutes: The team noted the minutes of the meeting of 16th September; there were no comments. Networking: ETWS and NCH noted that reprocessed SV1 data was ready for transfer from the evening of Friday 23rd September (after a few last minute tweaks by MR). Some rearrangement of the previous version of the data was necessary at this end before transfer could be instigated; this was done over the weekend. Transfer of Version 2 of the pipeline processed products for SV1 and some SV2 was finally instigated on Monday 26th September. Transfer rate is holding up at a healthy 12 to 14 MByte/s. Hardware: ETWS noted that new storage server khufu is now installed with Debian Sarge 3.1 so can be tested for software compatibility. The unit has 8TB arranged in 4 logical volumes of 2 TB. Users ETWS and RSC have logins for testing and operations. Software: NJC reported back from the Cambridge calibration meeting; a note has been put on the WFAU TWiki at http://apache.roe.ac.uk/twiki/bin/view/WFAU/UKIDSSCalibrationSept05 NJC has also been working on CU13 and communicating with EGS as to the features of the CASU mosaicing/stacking tool. RSC has continued to work on some of the C++ applications, enhancing and fixing memory leaks etc. MAR has been working on the interface implementation of user uploads for catalogue data. NCH reported fixing up the archive base merged source catalogue schema (for the UKIDSS LAS) and making corresponding changes in the core source merging code mkmerge. NCH will now send instructions to ETWS on what has changed and how to run CU7, and subsequently CU16, in preparation for SV1+2 rerelease. Data Release: Pending; awaiting retransfer & reingest of SV1 & 2 data. Astrogrid deployment: Nothing new this week. Miscellaneous: Nothing else this week.
