ACTION: ETWS to put (or link) ACD's network document on the WSA TWiki. Continues: (still) awaiting the finished article from ACD. - all continuing; thanks for progressing these. Actions carried forward from 28/01/04 meeting: ---------------------------------------------- None this week. Specific points and new actions: -------------------------------- Project management: NCH and PMW noted the VDMT meeting the previous afternoon. Updates on progress were presented; there were no substantive comments. There was much discussion concerning the upcoming VDUC meeting (Mon 21st Feb at Edinburgh). All agreed that it would be great if a small subset of Phase I commissioning data could be pipeline processed, ingested into the archive and browsing of those frames demonstrated at the meeting. Other matters for discussion at VDUC include the URD contents and the scope of the May review. NCH and MAR will give presentations at VDUC; the team agreed that ETWS and NJC will attend also. ACTION: NCH to check out the computer/network facilities in the management meeting room for VDUC. WFCAM update: No news this week Comments and issues arising from CASU fortnightly minutes: The team noted the minutes of the CASU meeting of 24/1/05; there were no comments. Networking: Nothing new this week. Hardware: All is quiet on the hardware front; the new flat file storage brick "sneferu" has been ordered (4.8TB SATA P4 server). Software: ETWS reported doing a complete curation software installation under username "scos" on djoser; there were no problems. NCH, NJC and ETWS have all been working more on the ingest and curation codes. MAR has started work on a servlet for browsing the image contents of the archive. MAR also reported: "Worked on trying to use the Astrogrid infrastructure to authenticate users of the WSA. Can now authenticate against a registry and community on grendel02 but would like them to be closer to if not actually installed on thoth. Need AG help in installing registry (maybe won't need this as there is a lite version that might do i.e. the registry will only point at one community server) and community on thoth or srif112." NJC reported a first look at the requirements for global photometric calibration in the archive, CU8 (formerly CU7). SSA: No news this week. Astrogrid deployment: As noted above, MAR now needs some input from the Astrogrid side on the registry and community server deployment. Miscellaneous: Nothing else this week.
